1. Hong Kong: Hong Kong tops the list of countries with the highest intolerance towards people of another race. According to the World Value Survey, 71.8 % of residents in Hong Kong do not wish to live next to a person of a different race.
2. Bangladesh: Bangladesh follows at the second position with 71.7 % of its population wanting their neighbours to be of the similar race, says the World Value Survey.
3. Jordan: Middle East country Jordan is the third most 'intolerant' towards people belonging to a different race. According to the World Value Survey, 51.4 % of the local population would not want a person of another race to be their neighbour.
4. India: India, a country known for its racial and cultural diversity ranks fourth, according to the survey, in showing intolerance towards people of another race with 43.5 % of its population preferring a neighbour of similar race.
5. Egypt: Also included in the list is Egypt, a transcontinental country with more than 30 % of its population showing skepticism for living besides a neighbour of another race.
6. Saudi Arabia: The people of the largest Arab state in West Asia, Saudi Arabia too exhibited a reluctance to have a neighbour belonging to another race. More than 30 % of its population said they do not want a person of another race as their neighbour.
7. Iran: Iran, another West Asian country is also amongst world's top ten countries showing intolerance towards another race.
8. Vietnam: Vietnam, which enjoys a high economic growth, too, is included in the list of the world's least tolerant countries.
9. Indonesia: Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country, is also one of the world's least tolerant countries.
10. South Korea: South Korea is one of the few developed countries that are included in the top ten countries with least tolerance towards another race.
